Lion is one of the big five animals found in Tanzania, they are in the genus Panthera and species leo which make their scientific name Panthera leo.
Lions are only cats live in groups and they can be up to 30 lions in one group depending the amount of food and water they need to survive.
Interesting thing about lion is its roar can be heard up to eight (8) kilometers away and that makes the lion to be called the king of the jungle.
